I went with my two teens and we had a BLAST. The old stone streets are so cool – my son kept pretending he was in a medieval movie, lol. Make sure to wear sneakers, the cobbles are ankle-twisters if you’re not careful. The views from the top – honestly, just WOW. Windy when we went, so bring a jacket (I didn’t, regretted it). Shops were a bit touristy but we loved the olive soap we found. If you like history and don’t mind a little climbing, this is a perfect day trip. Not too crowded on a Thursday morning.
Went solo just to clear my head and it worked. The village is pretty peaceful if you get there before 10am. Got lost in the tiny alleys (on purpose). Some stairs are a bit steep and I nearly tripped twice, but it’s all part of the charm, right? Only downside was the line for coffee, took like 20 min. Still, the views are EPIC and I got some cool pics. Would come again, maybe next time with friends.
We booked last minute and lucked out with perfect weather. Our guide (sorry, forgot her name) was suuuper knowledgeable about the history of the place and even pointed out spots where some famous painter did his thing? Not really into art but it was interesting anyway. Walked a lot – my legs were tired but in a good way. If ur into old buildings and quirky shops, this place is a win.
Went with my girlfriend and we had a really chill time. The stone walls make it feel like you’re in a fairytale. We got there late afternoon, so less people. Sunset from the top = UNREAL. There’s a little shop that sells lavender stuff, smells amazing. Only wish there were more signs in English, got lost a few times.
I travelled with my mom and sister. All of us fell in love with this place. The little chapel is adorable and peaceful (you can’t take pics inside, which I kinda liked). Lots of cute cafes, though they fill up fast. We spent most of the day wandering, eating pastries, and just soaking up sun. Bring a hat, shade is limited. 10/10 would recommend for families.
Honestly, I didn’t expect much, but this tour blew me away. Our guide (Pierre?) was funny and shared cool stories about the village. I learned a ton but it never felt like a boring history class. The best part: sampling some local olive oil. Not a big group, so we didn’t feel rushed. A+ day.
So here’s the thing – wear good shoes. The streets are rough and my friend wore sandals and spent half the time complaining. We liked the old towers and the weird little museum (no English explanations, tho). Great spot for anyone who likes taking photos. If you’re hungry, get the cheese plate at the café next to the main gate. Sooo good.
Had a great time on this tour. Went with my wife and two kids (8 and 11). The guide kept the kids entertained with stories of knights and castles. The walk up is a bit tough for little legs, but the ice cream at the top made it worth it. Not stroller-friendly at all. Bring coins for the bathroom, they charge!
We visited as part of a bigger Provence tour. Our guide was really good, knew so much about the village and its history. Spent around two hours walking around, then had coffee and cake at a bakery (can’t remember the name, but it was right by the fountain). Weather was sunny, so the views were clear. Would have liked more time – felt a bit rushed.
Went early in the morning, and it was almost empty. The old stones are beautiful. I liked the small shops with handmade goods. The light in the village is special, very soft. I took lots of photos. I recommend going early and wearing comfortable shoes.
Such a charming spot. The walk up is a bit steep, and my knees felt it, but worth it for the views. Too many souvenir shops for my taste, but the little art gallery was a nice surprise. Not much shade, so sunscreen is a must.
Took my grandma and she was sooo happy to see the old buildings. We sat in the main square and watched people for ages. The staff at the info office were SUPER helpful, gave us a map and pointed out the best spots for photos. The lavender fields nearby were just starting to bloom. If you like peaceful places, go early!
Fun afternoon with the kids. They loved climbing around the old walls and pretending to be knights. Some parts are not safe for little ones (no railing!) so keep an eye out. Ice cream stand by the entrance is a lifesaver. Parking is a pain, but worth it.
Got up early and beat the crowds. The place is magical in the morning light. Our guide was an absolute LEGEND, knew everything and made us laugh the whole time. If you can, book a morning slot.
The village is so photogenic! Went with my bestie and we spent half the day taking pics. The climb up is a workout but totally worth it for the view. Only complaint: not enough veggie options at the cafes.
Booked this tour for my parents’ anniversary. Guide was so sweet and even arranged a little surprise for them at one of the cafes (mini cake!). The views are just stunning and the air smells like flowers. Mom cried happy tears. Thank you!
Came with friends for a day trip. Good vibes, lots of cute shops. Bit too many people around lunchtime though. We found a quiet spot behind the chapel to eat our snacks. Would def come again, maybe try a weekday next time.
Visited with my partner. The village is very romantic, especially in the evening. We had dinner at a small place overlooking the valley – pricey but delicious. A bit tricky to find the entrance, so follow the signs closely!
Best day of our trip. The guide was so passionate, you could tell she really loved her job. We learned a lot about the history and saw parts of the village most tourists miss. Pro tip: bring cash, some shops don’t take cards.
Absolutely LOVED this tour. The guide was funny, smart, and kept us all entertained. Saw the old prison (creepy and cool). Weather was perfect. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
We visited in spring and the flowers were out everywhere. The kids collected wildflowers and had a blast. Not super stroller-friendly, but manageable if your kids are walkers. The bakery by the square has the best croissants.
Came solo and loved it. Spent hours wandering and sketching the old buildings. Didn’t expect to find such peace in a tourist spot, but there are quiet corners if you look. Staff were friendly and gave great tips.
Took this tour with my boyfriend. The guide was amazing, super funny and knew all the hidden spots. We tried local wine at a tiny shop – DELICIOUS. Highly recommend for couples.
Went with a group of friends. Place is gorgeous but gets busy fast. The view from the castle ruins is just EPIC. Bring snacks, cafes fill up quick.
Loved every minute! The guide told so many fun stories and showed us where to get the best lavender ice cream. The weather was perfect, and we got some great family pics. Make sure to wear comfy shoes!
