Honestly, I didn’t expect to enjoy a wine tour THIS much, but wow. I tagged along with my partner and his parents, and the whole day felt like a lil’ adventure. Our guide, Pierre, was super chill but clearly knew his wine—like, he could probably sniff a grape and tell you its whole life story. The first stop was a family-run vineyard, and the owner’s dog followed us around the whole time (bonus points for that). Wines were delish, especially the Bandol rosé. Lunch in Cassis took a while (crazy busy on weekends), but sitting by the water with a glass made it worth it. Heads up: bring a hat, it got HOT by noon. Would 100% do this again.
Fun day with friends! The drive out was a bit long, but the scenery is amazing—rolling vineyards and then the coast. Our guide was funny and even sang us a song (not kidding). The first winery was my fave, super rustic and the staff poured generous tastings. Cassis was PACKED but so pretty, and we managed to snag a spot for lunch at a tiny bistro. Wish there was a bit more time to look around the town. Still, really cool experience.
Went solo and didn’t feel awkward at all, which was a relief. Met another solo traveler and we geeked out over the reds—sooo smooth. Our guide answered, like, every random question I threw at him about terroir and oak barrels. The lookout point over Cassis was the highlight for me. Only thing: wish they sold more snacks at the wineries, I got a bit peckish after all that sipping.
Great wines, friendly people. The weather was HOT, so bring sunscreen or you’ll regret it. Vineyard cats were all over the place, kinda funny. Cassis viewpoint = epic. Would give 5 stars but felt a little rushed at lunch.
Loved this tour! I dragged my two teens along and even they had a good time (miracle). Our guide made the history bits interesting, and the wine tastings were spaced out so it never felt too much. The drive between Bandol and Cassis is STUNNING. Tips: comfy shoes, and maybe a water bottle, since you’ll be out in the sun a lot.
Had a blast with my wife and another couple. Guide was super knowledgeable and made everyone laugh. Wines were varied—def recommend the whites! Watch out for the winding roads if you get carsick though.
Never thought I’d be into wine tours, but this was a highlight of our trip. The group was small, felt almost private. Vineyard dogs are the real MVPs. Cassis is so cute, almost too photogenic. Advice: wear light clothes, it got warm fast.
Nice experience overall. First winery was a bit crowded and loud, but the second one was peaceful and had the best view of the trip. Guide gave us lots of time to take photos at the lookout, which I appreciated. Would have liked a bit more info on the grape varieties.
We went as a family (kids are 12 and 15), and it was surprisingly family-friendly. The guide kept the kids entertained with stories about local legends. Husband and I loved the reds. Cassis lunch was slow but tasty. Bring a fan if you don’t like heat!
Chill day out. Went with gf for her bday. The rosé at the second stop was UNREAL. Guide was cool, vibes were relaxed. Wish there was more time in Cassis but overall, solid trip.
If you love wine and pretty places, just go. Our guide Sebastian was a total wine nerd (in a good way), and even had maps to show us where all the grapes grew. I learned a ton. Cassis town is tiny but packed with charm. Had THE best lemon tart at a bakery there.
Pretty vineyards and good company. The group was a fun mix of people from everywhere, which made the tastings more lively. Cassis viewpoint is a must-see. Only negative: wish there were more bathroom stops.
We did this with two other couples and had a blast. The guide was hilarious and made the day fly by. Loved that we got to meet the actual winemaker at the second stop. Cassis is gorgeous, but get ready for crowds if you go during a holiday.
Went on a whim and so glad I did. Learned a lot about wine (and how little I knew before). Some of the tastings were in these cooool old cellars. Cassis lunch options were a bit pricey but tasty. Bring cash, some places didn’t take cards.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Provence. The drive out alone is worth it—so many fields and THAT coastline. Our guide was super passionate. Wines were varied, and the reds at the last winery were my fave. Definitely bring water, especially in late spring.
Went with my mom for her birthday and it was so special. She loved the rosé tasting, and the guide made sure everyone felt included. The lookout over Cassis was breathtaking. Would go again!
You get to see vineyards, taste wine, AND visit Cassis? Sign me up. Went with my wife and we both agreed the views alone are worth it. Bring a hat and maybe some snacks, lunch was a tad late for us.
Really enjoyed the tour! Guide explained everything without sounding boring. Took loads of pics (can’t take them in some indoor parts btw). Cassis is SO photogenic. Only minus: wish we had more time at the last winery.
Perfect mix of wine and scenery. Our group was small, which made it easy to ask questions. The Bandol region is gorgeous, and Cassis was the cherry on top. Would do it again for sure.
Lovely tour, but weather was a bit chilly—even in late April! Still, the guide kept us moving and shared so many funny stories. Loved the Bandol whites. Cassis is postcard-level pretty.
We had a fantastic day. Guide was super patient with all our questions (and there were a LOT). Each winery had a totally different vibe. The view from the hilltop over Cassis is burned into my brain forever.
Wine, sun, and sea—what more do you need? Went with friends and we all loved it. The guide even recommended the perfect place for ice cream in Cassis. Will remember this trip for ages.
Good value for the price. The drive was scenic and the wineries all had their own charm. Cassis was busy but lovely. Would suggest bringing some snacks, lunch was on the later side.
Booked this for our honeymoon and it was a great choice. The vineyards in Bandol are stunning, and our guide even took a detour so we could see the fields in full bloom. Wine tastings were generous, too. 10/10 from us.
Went with my best friend and had such a fun time. The guide had so many stories about the area, and the wine tastings were generous. Cassis is adorable, especially if you love little shops. Would totally recommend!
